The 3600Kv Hobbywing XERUN 3660 SD motor is an advanced solution for modeling enthusiasts that offers outstanding performance and precise control. With full-sensor mode and innovative technologies, this motor provides unparalleled smooth operation and durability. It is the first 4-pole motor with a built-in chip that allows the speed controller to recognize the motor as a HOBBYWING product, creating a comprehensive system that works together in sensor mode at all times. As a result, users can enjoy better performance and smoother control. However, it is worth remembering that the full functionality of sensor mode is only available in conjunction with XeRun XR8 series controllers.

Turbo timing technology

The engine is equipped with turbo timing technology, which is widely used in 1/10th scale On-Road racing. This technology allows you to unleash the ultimate power of the engine, especially when combined with XeRun XR8 controllers, resulting in excellent performance. The mechanical feed in the motor can be adjusted from 20° to 40° (the default setting is 30°). This allows the motor to meet different performance requirements depending on the type of application, in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions.

Enhanced Hall sensor system

The patented "error-free" Hall sensor provides stable sensing operation, supported by an additional precision sensor. As a result, users can enjoy reliable and smooth motor operation. The innovative 4-pole magnet with an 8-piece rotor, known as a "pitch magnet," provides an extremely low "tooth" effect and low torque pulsation. This solution translates into unprecedented smoothness of motor speed.

High-quality materials and excellent design

The motor is made of double-insulated windings that can withstand up to 200°C, high-strength adhesive up to 300℃, Japanese bearings and silicone-coated steel plates. These materials guarantee excellent performance and long engine life. The design of the front and rear bell hubs reduces the weight of the engine, which affects its efficiency. The engine's rotor is shaped like a turbine, which speeds up internal air circulation, effectively lowering the temperature and keeping the engine at a low operating temperature. This solution prevents overheating and increases the life of the unit. The G2 XeRun 3652/3660 motor, combined with the Hobbwing XeRun XR8 ESC controller, creates a perfectly matched drive unit that features high torque and smooth and linear operation. With this combination, users can enjoy unparalleled precision and performance.
