SOFTENING: By means of ionic exchange, OSCAR replaces the calcium and magnesium ions present, in both thei soluble and insoluble forms in the drinking water, with sodium ions. In particular, higher total water hardness corresponds to a higher quantity of sodium in the water. This quantity is rendered in milligrams/litre and therefore in a very modest quantity in conformity not only with the provisions of the law but also with the WHO guidelines.
