Wire Pair Tracker and Tester Key Features: Locates wires. Verifies and identifies wires and their condition. Measures and tests wire continuity. Locates and verifies shorted wires. Purpose: High-quality network tester – wire pair locator. Identifies wires in cable bundles and indicates cables assigned to individual sockets. Correct indication is signaled by a clear modulated audio signal. Using the transmitter sockets and included cables, it is possible to identify both Ethernet (RJ45) and telephone (RJ11) cables. The tester consists of two parts: a transmitter-generator and a receiver-detector, allowing for convenient searching and testing of the correctness of computer network elements up to 300m long. The receiver-detector is equipped with an LED lamp useful for working in poorly lit places. Headphones are included for easier cable searching in high-noise environments. Included with the tester (transmitter and receiver) are accessories such as an RJ-11 telephone cable, an RJ-45 Ethernet cable, a cable with alligator clips, headphones, and batteries.
