The cable rest helps to keep the cable as well as your hands and clothing clean and dry.
By covering the nozzle, the plug holder protects the Type 2 charging cable from dust, dirt and water ingress.
The charging plug can be securely locked in place with just one hand and unlocked again from the dummy socket at the touch of a button.
