The TL-SF1008P PoE switch has 8 auto-negotiating 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports. Four ports (1-4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The switch automatically detects IEEE 802.3af compliant PD devices and supplies power. This extends network reach to locations without power outlets, ideal for access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc. It features priority-based power allocation to protect against overload. PoE power consumption is up to 57W. Higher priority ports are powered first. Port priority: port-1 > port-2 > port-3 > port-4. This protects the system during overload. For example, if ports 1, 2, and 4 each draw 15.4W (maximum per port), the system uses 46.2W (PoE LED turns red). If a 12W device is connected to port 3, power to port 4 will be cut. Ports 1 and 2 will receive 15.4W, port 3 12W, and port 4 will be unpowered. The TL-SF1008P is easy to install and use; no configuration or mounting is needed.
