This LAN Patchcord from Extralink is a 10 meter long copper network cable. A LAN patchcord is the basic element of computer networks operating in the Ethernet standard. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch so that data can be transferred between them. It is also used to connect computers or VoIP phones for structured cabling and to perform patch panel switching in IT cabinets. It is perfect for both large and small computer networks. This unshielded patchcord from Extralink is highly flexible, which translates into installation convenience and user comfort.
Unshielded category 5e UTP patchcord from Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold plated RJ45 plugs. It is built using a four-wire, twisted pair cable, made of pure copper, thanks to which it is possible to power network devices in the PoE standard.
