The Extralink Water Sensor is a smart water sensor that detects flooding or water leakage based on the conductive state between metal probes. The sensor connects to a multifunction gateway Extralink Smart Gateway via the ZigBee protocol and allows you to create smart home scenes. The sensor can be easily paired with the Extralink gateway from the Tuya app. The sensor has low power consumption and long battery life.

Detection of flooding or water leakage
The Extralink flooding sensor uses the conductive state between metal probes to detect the presence of water on the surface where it is placed. When the sensor detects flooding or water leakage, it sends a signal to the Extralink multifunction gateway, which can trigger other smart devices.
Connectivity with Extralink multifunction gateway via ZigBee
Extralink Smart Life Water Sensor connects to multi-function gateway Extralink Smart Gateway using the ZigBee protocol, which is safe, reliable and compatible with other smart devices. ZigBee is a low-power wireless communication protocol commonly used in the communication of smart home devices.
Notifications and alerts to your phone
The flood sensor allows you to receive notifications and alerts to your phone when it detects flooding or water leakage. To use this feature, connect the sensor to a multifunction gateway Extralink Smart Gateway using the Tuya app and allow it to receive push notifications. When the sensor sends a signal to the multifunction gateway, the Tuya app will send a notification to your phone.
Innovative double-sided design
The flooding sensor has an innovative two-sided design - the downward-facing probe can monitor flooding with water, the upward-facing probe can monitor rain and water leakage. The sensor can also be attached to the wall to detect water levels.
