Silicone protective cover for MK8heating block used in3D printers. The cover is made of heat resistant plastic which protects the heating block against mechanical damage. It also reduces the amount of dirt deposited on it. The cover effectively retains heat, thus accelerating the process of heating the nozzle. Silicone largely protects against accidental burns. It can be easily cleaned from the rest of the felt, which adhere during printing. It has very good insulating properties, thanks to which it is used with a wide range of filaments. The most popular include: ABS, TPU, HIPS, WOOD, PETG.
