The connector disintegrates when pulling the upper part out of the lower part, there is no cord locking in the plug, the plug is disposable because after installation it is no longer possible to pull the upper part out without folding. It's a pity that there is only such a connector on the market - another option is to use a ps2 plug from a keyboard/mouse that you no longer need.
