If you put one finger between the infraread light-emitting diode and the phototransistor, the pulse can be detected at the signal output.
This sensor is compatible to all Raspberry and Arduino models.

Attention: This analogue sensor can also be operated with a Raspberry PI with the help of our ADC converter (COM-KY053ADC).
