PLA Rainbow is a unique blend of PLA (polylactide)-based materials. Each spool contains several smoothly changing colors. This makes the print made of filament from the PLA Rainbow product line unique.

The PLA Rainbow Silk Fire filament by Rosa 3D allows you to prepare one of a kind , fiery 3D prints. Each spool contains a multi-colored thread in fiery shades: deep red, luminous orange and golden tones. What’s more, thanks to the use of a unique PLA-based fabric blend, the PLA Rainbow Silk Fire filament has a glossy finish. One spool with a net weight of 800g contains 4 full color transitions. One color cycle is contained in 200 g of filament. Depending on the selected print parameters (print size and infill density), you can include as many colors in your model as you want.

PLA Rainbow Silk Fire does not require printing in a closed chamber, however, we recommend using a higher extrusion temperature than usually for PLA Starter. This filament is characterized by low shrinkage and is odorless. Prints from PLA Rainbow Silk Fire are characterized by great interlayer adhesion and very good detail reproduction.

ATTENTION! The frequency and sequence of color transitions is fixed for a given production batch. A single spool may start at any point in the process, e.g. one spool may start red and another spool orange. Shade differences are allowed.

Recommended printing parameters:

• extrusion temperature 185-225°C
  
• bed temperature: 40-60°C
  
• fan: 50-100%
  
• print speed: 60-80 mm/s
  

The filament can be printed on unheated tables. In case of problems with adhesion, we recommend the use of an adhesive.
