It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transferred between them. It is also used to connect computers or Voip telephones for structured cabling and to perform patch panel switching in IT cabinets. It is perfect for both large and small computer networks. This unshielded patchcord from Extralink is highly flexible, which translates into installation convenience and user comfort.
The shielded category 6 FTP patchcord of Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold-plated RJ45 plugs. It is made of four-wire cable, twisted pair type, made of pure copper, so it is possible to power network devices in PoE standard.
