The Extralink network cable is a 2 meter long twisted-pair copper cable. Patchcord LAN is the basic element of computer networks operating in Ethernet standard. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transferred between them. It is also used to connect computers or Voip telephones for structured cabling and to perform patch panel switching in IT cabinets. It is perfect for both large and small computer networks. Unshielded patchcord Extralink is highly flexible, which translates into installation convenience and user comfort.
Unshielded category 5e UTP patchcord of Extralink brand is terminated with shielded, gold plated RJ45 plugs. It is built of a four-wire cable, twisted pair type, made of pure copper, thanks to which it is possible to power network devices in PoE standard.
