TP-Link SF1005P - PoE switch with five ports
The PoE switch TL-SF1005P has 5 RJ45 ports with a speed 10/100 Mb/s, which do not require configuration. Four of them (from 1 to 4) support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. The switch automatically detects powered devices (PD - powered device) operating in IEEE 802.3af standard and supplies them with power. This solution allows to extend the range of the network in places where there is no access to sockets or power lines, and there is a need to locate access points, IP cameras, IP phones etc.
Preventing overloads
Each port of the switch is equipped with the automatically negotiated connection speed function. The device also has a priority function, thanks to which it is able to protect the system in moments of overload. Power consumption of devices powered via PoE is up to 58 W, and devices connected to higher priority ports are powered first.
Protection in moments of overload
Port priorities: port-1, port-2, port-3, port-4. This function protects the system in moments of overload. For example, when ports 1, 2 and 4 take 15.4 W (where the maximum value for the port is 15.4 W), then the system takes 46.2 W (the PoE LED will light up red). If a 12 W downloader is connected to port 3, the system will disconnect the power supply from port 4. Port 1 and 2 will therefore be supplied with 15.4 W, port 3 will be supplied with 12 W, while port 4 will be disconnected from the power supply.
Intuitive operation
The TL-SF1005P is easy to install and use, no configuration or installation required.
The TL-SF1005P 5-port desktop switch with four PoE ports is a great solution to expand your home or office network, thanks to its reliability and high transmission quality.
